Why We Need Your Help

Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high quality, low cost, cultural and intellectual learning opportunities for adults. As a local and state leader in adult education, we are proud of the exceptional service we provide the public. But there are many important programs that are not supported by our low course fees. We rely on support from contributors, especially from our members, to raise our operating funds.

Membership Fees Help Us To

• Fulfill our mission to provide a variety of cultural and academic courses, topical symposiums, innovative workshops and special events for intellectual enrichment.
• Enhance our offerings by continually building our programs and attracting distinguished speakers.
• Rent space in the community in which to hold our courses, lectures and events.
• Provide financial aid to students in need.
• Offer free programs to benefit the community such as the Brown Bag Lecture Series and the Vermont Humanities Council Programs.
